Rein's Nature Reserve
Reins Nature reserve is a unique privately owned nature reserve near Gouritz Mond on the Southern Cape coast.
The Reins family appointed CREATE DESIGN ™ to develop their new marketing materials for the reserve. The project developed in stages which included photography, branding, illustration and the graphic design and layout of a hand bound coffee table book. The photography included broad landscape vistas, wildlife photography and detailed macro photography of the local Fynbos on the reserve. The illustrated brand was directly inspired by the natural beauty of the reserve and culminated in an illustration of a sunbird on a restio. The illustration was blind embossed and foiled onto the cover of the book.
